Farewell Transmission at CUFF and Edinburgh International Film Festival

Farewell Transmission screens at two festivals in June: Chicago Underground Film Festival and Edinburgh International Film Festival. In Chicago, Farewell Transmission is included in a programme entitled Revealed Manifestation and includes works from Akosua Adoma Owusu, Vivienne Dick, Cecilia Araneda, Kera MacKenzie, Andrew Mausert-Mooney, and Sarah Meyohas. Later this month, my film is curated in a unique programme as part of the Black Box series for the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Curated by filmmaker Terra Long, Black Box Shorts: Canadian Experimental Film – Forty Years Later, presents a diverse selection of works that foreground the material properties of 16mm filmmaking. Included in the programme are films by Josephine Massarella, Lyndsay Bloom, Terra Long, Kyath Battie, Lindsay McIntyre, Eva Kolcze, Parastoo Anoushahpour, Faraz Anoushahpour, and Ryan Ferko.
